So a few years ago when I was a wee teenager, I stumbled upon the most amazing live version of Disarm, with a beautiful cello intro. And now I no longer have it and don't know how to go about finding the specific recording. Do any of you awesome SP lovers happen to know how this recording could possibly be obtained? I have a craving.

So at work today I made an unfortunate rage-inspiring discovery.
Someone stole my plants.
Someone stole my plants.
Someone fucking stole my plants!!!
(Done three times to emphasize on how pissed off I was)
So yeah, someone thought it would be a brilliant idea to take the plants I'd been taking care of. They took the phlox that hadn't even germinated yet, dug up the pansies that I'd put in the ground and lifted the other pansies that were still in their pots. All gone without a trace, and no one saw who did it.
Now who steals a pansy? Really. I swore to Adam that if I find out who did that I will kick their ass. No one gets between me and anything I've taken care of for a significant amount of time. That extends to plants, pets, children and pieces of technology. Apparently getting very attached to things is also an INTJ trait, but there's a definite Mama Bear tendency in it for me.
Where's a Divine Buster when I need one? And if people are wondering why I keep referencing Nanoha, I'm referring to this incident when she gives the person who messed with her adoptive daughter what was coming to her.

Although I don't think it has as much power as the album version, the studio version of One Hundred Years (on the bonus disc) has a really great guitar solo at the end. I was just listening to it and decided I like it a lot...it's really intensely expressive.
I also love the Flexipop version of "Lament" from Join the Dots. What non-album versions do you guys like?

I will be up there for the Memorial Day weekend, and I've been checking the archives. I will be missing Deathquild, which I am upset about. But I was wondering if there is a week end events that will be happening. Thanks

Hi!
Me and the hubby are coming to San Francisco Friday, May 30-Sunday, June 1st. Is there anything, clubbing wise to go during those nights? Since it's a fifth week, it's been rather difficult finding a night. And if there are other recommendations of things to do that would be super keen as well!

It's been such a long time since I've used this. I've forgotten about it several times, toyed with the idea of continuing it several times, and always I either forgot about it or decided not to continue. Now here I am again. Ironic, because my first entry describes my annoyance with long delays and abandonments of journals without deletions. I just read all the entries in my journal though, and I'm very glad I didn't delete them. Nearly every one is fascinating. Some of them I don't even remember composing, and I have completely forgotten some of the dreams described. Some of the topics I brought up are especially interesting because I think differently of them now, in particular my question of morality (I have read that some scientists think that human morals exist because of evolutionary developments for the survival of the species) and my observation of the base ten numbering system and possible alternatives (I have a new understanding of other numbering systems used in computer programming, such as the base two binary system).
I'm still thinking, still pondering the mysteries of life, but not in the same way I did a couple of years ago (when most of the previous entries were made). I'm once again interested in recording my thoughts and even some of my dreams, but I don't know how long I'll keep up with this journal this time.

Squeezed in just under the wire in terms of posting the last paper for my online politics class.
I did my paper on Kyrgyzstan (which I can now actually spell competently) and my instinct to pick the most corrupt of the former Soviet satellites proved correct in terms of finding information. They certainly took a few pages from the Soviets in terms of political suppression and media manipulation.
So now I only have to zap Stella (the professor) my final paper and take my last sociology test on Friday before I go to work, both of which I'm fairly competent about. All things considered that wasn't a bad semester, and I enjoyed most of it. It certainly makes a difference for me motivationally to actually like the stuff I'm working on and feel like I'm accomplishing something. I've definitely felt more motivated this year and have been getting stuff done in a flash.
Get ready Suffolk, here I come~!
